The Internet Learning Solutions (Pty) Ltd Privacy Policy

 

Internet Learning Solutions (ILS) understands the importance of protecting your personal information and we value and respect it.

By signing this form, and unless you at any time instruct ILS expressly and in writing to the contrary, your consent is given for ILS to:

  1. collect, store and process the following information:

    • your name

    • email address

    • postal address

    • telephone number (fixed or mobile)

    • log-in and account information for authentication purposes and account access

  2. use such information and can make available to staff or responsible persons engaged or authorised by ILS for learner management related purposes to the extent required for the purpose of managing your and your child's accounts on the learner management platform

  3. collect other information that does not personally identify you. Such other information includes application usage data, IP addresses, demographic information such as geographic location, school, home language, and information collected through cookies and other technologies or information that has been anonymised or aggregated. Should ILS link this information with your personal information, ILS will treat such linked information as personal information. You can choose not to provide personal information to ILS when requested. However, if this is necessary to provide you with our services and products, access to perform  administrative functions, ILS may be unable to do these things;

  4. ILS cannot be liable for any loss you or your child is alleged to have suffered resulting from opinions reasonably given, or correct statements of fact contained, in any reference or report given by us 

ILS may not distribute or otherwise publish any of your personal information in its possession, unless you give your consent, in writing, to ILS that it may do so. Should this be the case, ILS may only distribute or otherwise publish the information specified in your consent to the people your written consent.
